About Us

Keeping South Florida cool since 2009.

15 years. 35+ vehicles. 10 certified technicians. One mission: keep your home or business comfortable in one of the most demanding climates in the country.

Our Mission

“Keeping South Florida cool, one home at a time.”

Arctic Air of South Florida was founded in 2009 by a group of HVAC technicians who were tired of working for companies that prioritized sales over service. We built Arctic Air around a simple idea: do the job right, charge a fair price, and be honest with the customer about what their system actually needs.

South Florida’s climate is unforgiving. When your AC fails in August in Fort Lauderdale, it’s not a minor inconvenience — it’s a health and safety situation. That’s why we built a 24/7 emergency response team, maintain a fleet stocked with the most common failure parts, and require every technician to hold NATE certification or HVAC Excellence certification before they run a service call alone.

We’re headquartered in Fort Lauderdale — central to Broward County — and we cover 8 cities with same-day service appointments available six days a week, emergency service seven days.

Core Values

What we believe about doing this work well.

Reliability

When you schedule a service call, we show up — on time, every time. In 15 years of serving South Florida, we have never missed a confirmed appointment without calling ahead with at least 2 hours notice.

Integrity

We tell you the truth about your system. If your AC can be repaired for $200, we repair it for $200. We don't recommend replacements to earn installation revenue. Our technicians are W-2 employees — they earn no commission on upsells.

Excellence

We do the job right the first time. Every installation includes a 25-point commissioning checklist. Every repair gets a 30-day labor warranty. We don't cut corners on refrigerant charge, airflow, or ductwork because South Florida's climate won't forgive it.

Certifications & Ratings

Credentials that mean something.

NATE Certified

North American Technician Excellence

Industry's most rigorous HVAC certification — confirms technicians can diagnose real-world equipment problems, not just pass a written test.

EPA 608 Universal

Environmental Protection Agency

All technicians hold universal 608 certification — required for handling any refrigerant type. Not just technicians who work with specific systems.

BBB A+ Rating

Better Business Bureau

A+ rating maintained since 2012. We respond to every complaint within 24 hours. Our complaint rate is 0.3% of service calls — the South Florida average is 2.1%.
